John worked with us for many months because we decided to buy a home in a new development and he was there advising and providing help from the day we picked the lot, through construction, to the day we moved in and beyond. At the same time as the new construction was nearing completion John was also helping us prepare to sell our current home. Throughout the process John was constantly anticipating what we would need to do next. Then he would help us schedule those things, and more times than not he would show up to meetings he did not have to attend just to make sure everything was progressing as smoothly as possible. Beyond this, I want to say that he often went the extra mile for us. Examples include offering to meet service workers when our schedules didn’t allow us to be there, picking up and delivering documents for us, and shoveling snow and scraping ice from the sidewalk before the movers got to the new house!

John’s many years of realty experience allowed him to give us advice on many occasions that made our decision process easier, such as how to prepare our house for photographs and showings. John also has an endless list of resources to recommend. From carpet cleaners to concrete workers, John can recommend someone for whatever you need. I also want to note that John was always on time, quick to respond to texts and emails, and showed genuine concern for our well-being.

To sum up our experience with John, he was warm, professional, worked very hard, and then continued to work even more than expected, which took a great deal of stress out of the buying and selling experience. I would whole-heartedly recommend John Mann as a realtor to anyone in the market to buy or sell a home.

Working with John Mann as our Realtor was a very positive experience for us. John was referred to us by a mutual acquaintance in July 2018. At that time we were in the early stages of thinking about putting our house on the market and downsizing. We have worked with Realtors before but none have worked as tirelessly or as thoroughly on our behalf as John. John provided us with accurate information in a timely manner through phone calls, voice mail messages, texts, emails and face-to-face meetings. We always felt listened to and respected.

There were many times when John went above and beyond since we were out of town and unable to complete tasks ourselves. For example, during Open Houses John shoveled snow and put salt down so prospective buyers would have easy access to our home. Another time John sat at our house while a worker replaced a broken window pane. These are but two examples; there were many more. John is also very resourceful. He was able to connect us with skilled tradesmen who assisted us with home repair and maintenance tasks; thus helping us get our house ready to be put on the market. When it came time for us to move, he recommended movers to us who we found to be reasonable, efficient and pleasant to deal with.

We chose to build a new home and John sat in on many design sessions; not something he needed to do but something he wanted to do. We appreciated his ideas and suggestions. Now that we’ve been in our new home for several months, we realize how valuable his suggestions were.

In addition to representing us as sellers, John also represented the buyers of our home. Perhaps for some Realtors, it would be difficult to represent buyer and seller; but in John’s case he did so with ease. He was always professional in his dealings with us and we felt he had our best interests at heart.
